Danum Valley: Embraced by primary rain forest

Every time I am in the jungle, I am excited like a kid. There are endless things to see and even more to hear. It is an overwhelming experience. The guides or people living in the jungle are respectful and devote to animals and nature, striding through the jungle like gracile animals.

In the beginning I always feel a bit clumsy until I balance myself walking through the forest. After a couple of days in the jungle and a good shower in a hotel room I am renewed, reenergized and empowered.

Jungle-experiences to me are meditation since, I can only focus on where I step, what I see and what I hear right in this instance as I neither want to slip nor step into an animal. Jungle to me is as if nature embraced me.
