There is not much to say. If you ever go to New York – get your free ride on the Staten Island Ferry and enjoy a beautiful view of THE Skyline.
The Staten Island Ferry is a free passenger ferry. In Manhattan it departs from the Staten Island Ferry Whitehall Terminal at South Ferry near Battery Park. On Staten Island, the ferry departs from the St. George Ferry Terminal on Richmond Terrace. To be honest… we only got of the ferry to reenter directly through the terminal and did not get to see anything of Staten Island. Service is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Staten Island Ferry currently carries over 21 million passengers annually on the 5.2-mile (8.4 km) run, which takes about 25 minutes each way.
Make sure to put this on your list for your – whenever – New York trip.
